Hellenic American Women’s Council

The Hellenic American Women's Council (HAWC) is a 501(c)(3) nonpartisan organization based in Washington, DC that serves as a nationwide network dedicated to empowering Hellenic American women across all professional fields and communities. HAWC identifies and harnesses the talents of Greek American women by providing comprehensive educational programming, public policy awareness initiatives, and professional development opportunities. The organization sponsors regional conferences, lectures, debates, and seminars featuring prominent scholars, government officials, and subject matter experts addressing issues relevant to its membership. HAWC maintains an active presence across eight regional chapters—Capitol Region, Great Lakes, New England, Pacific, Southeast, and Tri-State regions—ensuring members throughout the United States have access to networking events, professional advancement forums, and community engagement opportunities. The organization facilitates meaningful dialogue on public policy matters while creating platforms for women to examine issues impacting their lives and careers.
