Association of Greek American Professional Women

The Association of Greek American Professional Women (A.G.A.P.W.) is a 501(c)(3) charitable and educational organization based in Astoria, NY, dedicated to advancing professional development and leadership opportunities for Greek American women. Founded in New York City in March 2010, the organization operates on a pro bono basis and offers comprehensive educational programming designed to equip women with essential professional skills and career advancement knowledge. A.G.A.P.W. provides workshops, seminars, panels, and conferences covering critical topics including leadership and decision-making skills, career development, resume preparation, business planning, finance and investing, technical skills, web design, small business accounting, and strategic networking techniques. The organization facilitates access to internship opportunities across multiple sectors including business, government, and educational institutions, while also establishing scholarship funds to support Greek American women pursuing higher education. Through regularly scheduled meetings, cultural events, and educational trips, A.G.A.P.W. creates valuable networking opportunities and promotes personal development within the community.
